Starting on November 1, 2008, you must upload all NYS-1 Magnetic Media files using your Online Services account. You will no longer have the option to mail your media to the Department.

Please note that the format of the file has not changed, just the delivery method!

You must create an Online Services account to upload your file. Once you have completed the registration process please call us at 1-877-341-9378 to access this online service

Once you register, you’ll have access to other online services, including Form NYS-45 Web-file, Quarterly Combined Withholding, Wage Reporting and Unemployment Insurance Return, and our Wage Reporting upload.
